DESCRIPTION
CHURCH (CHIESA) OF SAN FRANCESCO (now Ag. Nikolaos)
It was built in 1938. SARDELI was the contractor engineer.
The church was bombarded in 1943 and repaired, using concrete blocks, in the early 1950s. Unfortunately, this building has been altered by the addition of a “vestibule”, which changed the original form of its anterior side.
