The Naval Command Building “CASERMA MARINAI”

THE NAVAL COMMAND (CASERMA MARINAI, currently housing the Youth and Sports Foundation and the City Planning Office)

Its construction begun in 1929. This building is different than the others buildings in Lakki, which are of “International Style”. The decoration of the crown moulding, the shape of the main and the other entrances and the window frames do not appear in other buildings and witness the different outlook on building architecture of the Mario Lago era.
