«”Tourtouras”… The Tourtouras hill is right past Xerokabos, in the direction of “Diapori”. The San Marko barracks of the Italians and the PL288-PL388 anti-aircraft and naval batteries still lie there. It was the first place to take fire from the German Stuka. They bear unique murals, worn by time. Copy of Peter Bruegel 1567. According to information given to me by V.TH., the painting is entitled “The Peasant Wedding”. The area is accessible by car as well.»
