Aghios (Saint) Isidoros

Aghios Isidoros, the most picturesque church of Leros, is in the area of Kokkali.

This is one of the most romantic settings of the island. The chapel, built on a rock connected to the land by only a stone footpath, literally seems to rise from the waves.

The sunset here is one of the most beautiful ones. The water is blue and you may swim or settle on the rock and fish.

It is the most photographed church of the island, and seems to emerge from a rock in the middle of the sea. This is why many couples choose to have their wedding or the christening of their children there.
