Xerokampos

At the southern part of the Island, one can find a small sea side village, Xerokampos. Just opposite from Xerokampos there are some small islets known as Glaronisia and in a distance of one nautical mile is the Island of Kalymnos. The houses in Xerokampos are scattered in a small valley full of olive trees, cypresses, almond trees and flowers. On the top of the hill, in 70m height, one can find the Lepida Castle or Paleokastro. In Xerokampos village you can find tourist apartments and restaurants. There is also a beach suitable for swimming with crystal clear waters. For those seeking some adventure, Xerokampos is suitable for diving and scuba diving.
