Stuffed Squids



1kg of squids

1 cup of rice

1 small onion, finely chopped


A little wine or lemon juice

½ cup of oil

1 tablespoon of tomato sauce



At first we have to clean the squids. Finely chop the mustaches and the tentacles and then put them in a pan over low heat and stir. Pour in the pan after squid become rose colored and add the onion, stirring constantly. Next step is to add wine or lemon juice, tomato sauce and rice. Finally, add the parsley, salt and pepper. After mixing the ingredients, add a little water, stir the mixture and let it simmer until it thickens.

In a clean pan, place under the left over wings of the squid. Then fill in the squid with the mixture as needed and close carefully with a toothpick. Place them in the pot and follow the same procedure with all the squids. When you are ready pour water into the pan until it covers the squids. Boil over medium heat until cooked.
